Courses

1 - UNDERSTANDING RADIATION

This free 20 minute course, developed in cooperation with the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), educates workers and other members of the public on matters concerning radiation and radiation safety.

2 - ALL ABOUT X-RAY SAFETY FOR VETERINARY PRACTICE IN ONTARIO

This four module course in x-ray safety awareness is focused on the use of x-rays in veterinary practice.  Regulatory aspects covered are for the province of Ontario. Upon successful completion the participant may claim five (5) hours of credit for the Continuing Education Recognition Program. Certificate will be issued upon completion.

3 - EMPLOYEE RADIATION SAFETY  

This four module course is a radiation safety course aimed at workers that work with nuclear substances and radiation devices. The course introduces radiation and radioactivity, discusses health effects of exposure to radiation and general workplace radiation protection measures, and highlights important sections of the Radiation Protection Regulations.
